PetSupp?! scans your pet's food barcode and shows you what's really in the bowl: a Clean Check grade for the ingredients, plus alerts if that food is ever recalled.
How do I check my pet's food?
Tap "Scan pet food" and point your camera at the barcode. The app looks up the product and runs a Clean Check.
The scan didn't find my pet's food. What now?
Not every pet food is in the database yet. Tap "Search by name" and enter the brand and flavor (for example, "Blue Buffalo chicken"). That searches Open Pet Food Facts directly.
Where does the data come from?
Ingredient information comes from Open Pet Food Facts. Recall information comes from the FDA's public food enforcement database (openFDA). PetSupp?! reports the label and public recall data - it is informational only, not veterinary advice.
What does Pro include?
Pro unlocks unlimited saved foods and automatic recall monitoring: PetSupp?! checks your saved foods in the background and sends you a push alert the moment one is recalled.
How accurate are the recall matches?
Recall matching is brand and product based on public FDA data, not tied to your exact bag or lot number. Always confirm the specific product and lot against the recall notice before acting.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then choose PetSupp?! to change or cancel.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use "Restore Purchases" on the Pro screen after signing in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
