WhatSupp?! Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

WhatSupp?! ("the app," "we," "us") is a supplement label scanner. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible.

Information we do not collect

The app does not ask for or collect personal information such as your name, email address, mailing address, or location. You do not create an account to use it.

Information stored on your device

Your scan history is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to us or to any server, and we cannot see it.

Product lookups

When you scan a barcode or search by name, the app sends only the barcode number or the search text you enter to two public product databases to look up label information: Open Food Facts and the U.S. National Institutes of Health Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD). These requests do not include any personal information about you.

Subscriptions

WhatSupp?! offers an optional Pro subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's in-app purchase system; we never see or receive your payment details, and no third-party subscription service is used. Apple manages your subscription and billing under Apple's own privacy policy.

No tracking or advertising

The app does not use third-party analytics or advertising services, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Children

WhatSupp?! is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Not medical advice

WhatSupp?! reports information printed on supplement labels. It is informational only and is not medical advice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
